PrinCE-C 700: a truly integrated modularity
The PrinCE-C 760 and 770 are a powerful integrated Capillary Electro Chromatography system with a very sensitive Diode Array Detector (DAD). Choice of different 2 types DAD with 512 or 1024 diodes. It is fully automated, flexible, modular and suitable for almost any application. Thanks to the original modularity of the PrinCE system, allows for quick and simple hyphenation with any external CE detectors, or with a Mass Spectrometer (MS).
Aditional features of the PrinCE-C 700 series:
- A patented dynamic compression injection system that allows an unsurpassed injection reproducibility of less than 1% RSD, whereas other systems suffer from variations in pressure and voltage during the injection process. An accurate injection is of the utmost importance for a reliable quantitative analysis of samples in both the routine and the research labs
- PrinCE random access of inlet and outlet vials. Essential for method development in high throughput analyses. Frequently used in isotachphoresis and other techniques requiring different buffers during one electrophoresis run. Multiple buffer or samples positions available for large throughput.
- Under precisely controlled circumstances it is possible to use the PrinCE 600 series for fraction collection
- Variable sample and buffer vial sizes available, including Eppendorf micro centrifuges tubes
- Programmable, ramped high voltage power supply. Programmable prior to and during the run. A permanent recording of current is programmable in data acquisition for method reproducibility and validation monitoring
- PrinCE Large variable and programmable pressure range. Accurate pressure injections with controlled ramping (1 mbar increments). Fast flushing of capillaries. Simultaneous application pressure and high voltage allows advanced control of mobility during electrophoretic runs. Positive or negative pressure during electrophoresis.
- PrinCE programmable time events: starting of data collection or external data systems; Valve switching control or control of external devices and in-step change of pressure or high voltage.

- Outlet-end injections. This reduces the effective capillary length. If the detector is used with a remote detector cell that fits into the oven compartment of the PrinCE, the capillary length can be reduced considerably.
- Ease of use and rapid change of capillaries with capillary flexibility in length and inner diameter. Hardware selectable inlet and outlet for short or long effective capillary length. Short effective capillary length: 7.2cm, with total minimum capillary length of 33cm.
- The PrinCE-C 760 and 770 are standard equipped with an additional external fibre cell but also offers the possibility to an optional remote fibre cell. This remote fibre cell is fully automated selectable and increases the flexibility of the PrinCE system. Furthermore this cell can be placed near the inlet of an MS, allowing UV-monitoring of CE-MS analyses. The cell of course be used in combination with other detection techniques.
