The base unit has a very complete configuration when compare in any bench-top spheronizer. Standard specification now includes:-
- The availability of different bowl sizes on the same base.
- An automatic run timer
- Fines air as standard.
- Water jacketed bowl as standard.
The Caleva MBS 120 (Multi Bowl Spheronizer) provides the opportunity to obtain optional larger bowls for use on the same base if required at a later date. This offers a cost effective way of working with a wide range of batch sizes with a single spheronizer base.
It is possible to use small batches when product is scarce or costly or work with larger batches when this is preferred.
Automatic recording of operational data and product temperature is possible with the optional Caleva Datastor™.
Full pharmaceutical documentation packages as well as full IQ/OQ validation is available.

The Multi Bowl Spheronizer (MBS) with interchangeable bowls on the same base will allow flexible development of pharmaceutical formulations in a range of batch sizes.
The bowl size used in operation can be ideal for your batch size.
